At the Whitewater Ski Resort Mountain Learning Centre we love to share our passion and knowledge of mountain culture.  Whether you are downhill skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, cross country skiing, or heading off into the backcountry, our committed, professionally trained Snow School and Snow Safety instructors team together to offer a full range of lesson programs designed to provide you with an exceptional Whitewater experience. 

Skiing or Snowboarding can be intimidating for first timers or those re-entering the sport after a long absence.  At the Whitewater Snow School, we have a variety of programs to choose from.  Our Discover Program will have beginners enjoying green and blue runs in a well laid out three step program.  Magic Monday is our adult oriented lesson program for all levels with the option to ski, snowboard or cross country ski.  Private lessons are offered daily and are your best value lesson option. Enjoy the instructor's complete focus on your ability. That's invaluable when you are seeking to develop specific skills quickly. Not only do privates give you one on one time with an instructor, they allow you to legally cut lift lines to get max runs in.

The Adventure Club is for children ages 6 to 12 years. It runs every weekend and during school holidays. Drop in for the day, or the afternoon, rent equipment if you need it or book a whole season of lessons for your child. The Adventure Club will naturally develop your child's skills through fun activities and games.

Our Freestyle Camps are a sweet deal for ages 9 –15 years, who want to go from average bro to nearly pro in the rail park.  With safety in mind, our freestyle instructors will teach skiers and snowboarders how to perfect airs, jump with confidence and hone their overall free ride skills.

Three times during the season, we offer Level 1 Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance – (CSIA) and Level 1 Canadian Association for Snowboard Instructors- (CASI) courses.  The courses are prerequisites for many ski and snowboard jobs around Canada.  Get yourself certified and find a cool, outdoor job at Whitewater. Through our Snow Safety department, basic one day Avalanche Awareness courses are available throughout the season.  Our three day program, Avalanche Skills Training, is recognized by the Canadian Avalanche Association and is highly recommended for anyone interested in travelling into the amazing backcountry surrounding the Whitewater Ski Resort.  These courses and often required training for getting work in the mountains and for a job as in ski patrol.
