Whitewater's Olympic Gear UP Winter Carnival
Let's celebrate winter and the coming BC Olympics!
This year Whitewater brings you the
*Whitewater Olympic Gear-UP Winter Carnival*
Snow Sculpture Competitions, Whitewater Olympic-Style Poker Run, and an on-mountain Apres Snow Ball Party with Nelson's own Wassabi Collective hitting the stage!
Be there, or... you know. Here's the Itinerary:
Saturday
- Snow Sculpture Competition (sign up on the mountain or call the office to reserve your pile of snow)
- Apres Snow Ball Party with buffet dinner ($20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under and $5 return plate) and Wassabi Collective to help you get in the groove - the party starts when the lifts stop at 3:30 and will end around 8:30 with a torchlight parade (skiers with torches skiing down the mountain!) and FiReWoRkS!
Sunday
- Whitewater Olympic Games: this family fun event will be a great way to get outside, get active and have fun! 5 different stations (Alpine, Nordic /snow-shoeing and Snowman Building are all on the bill) will determine the Whitewater Olympic winners, complete with a medal ceremony of course!
