Mission Statement

The Whitewater Ski Team is a non-profit organization whose objective is to develop ski racers' skills and promote the fun in skiing through competition.

Alcan Nancy Greene Racers (Ages 6 - 11)

Young skiers in the Alcan Nancy Greene Ski League will develop the FUNdamentals of skiing through the introduction of the skiing ABC's (agility, balance, coordination and speed). Certified coaches focus on fun and technical instruction on varied snow conditions and terrain in and out of the gates.

Nancy Greene Racers train every Saturday. Rates do not include BC Alpine Fees.

Advanced (carded) Whitewater Racers Program (Ages 11 - 16)

The emphasis of the Whitewater Racers is on strong techincal skiing and fun through training and competition. Certified coaches promote mountain safety, technical instruction and fun throughout the season on the varied terrain and conditions available at Whitewater.

Whitewater Outside Operations Manager, Kirk Jensen, a former Powder Magazine World Top 50 Skier had this to say about the Whitewater Ski Team. "There is no way I would be the skier I am without the strong technical skills I developed as a young racer."

Whitewater Racers train every Saturday and Sunday 9:30 - 3:00

*Parents are encouraged to volunteer and participate in the annual Ski Swap and all races at Whitewater. Ski Team Board membership is always welcomed.
