Avalanche Conditions Report - November 21st 2019
We are back with the first episode of the Avalanche Conditions Report for the 2019/2020 season. It is an exciting time of year as the temperatures drop and the rain turns to snow. Conditions up at Whitewater are looking similar to last season at this time, with 30-40cm in the last 7 days bringing our snow level to 80cm in our weather plot. It is still very early season conditions so be mindful of natural hazards that are hiding right below the snow.
Avalanche Canada will be putting out its first forecast on November 22nd so be sure to check that out. And just remember that ski touring at the hill while we are closed is not recommended and to check out our website for our touring policy.
