Final Conditions Report of the Season- Avalanche Conditions Report #10
We are back with Dave, and Backcountry Skiing Canada to deliver you our 10th and final Avalanche Condition Report of the Season.
Here are some key highlights to be aware of:
- Since our last Avalanche Conditions Report we went through an Arctic cold snap followed by two storms, which made for a reactive storm slab that settled out fairly quickly.
- As we head into spring it is very important to keep in mind daytime warming and solar input as it can have a dramatic effect on the snowpack and wake up deeper instabilities -don't let this catch you off guard.
- Avalanche Canada is calling the Hazard Considerable, this reflects the warming we are seeing.
- The weather outlook is calling for 4cm Saturday and maybe another 5-8 Sunday night.
Thanks again for tuning in this season, hope you enjoyed the content, stay safe and we will catch you next season.
