Ski bums (and by ski bums, we of course, also mean snowboard bums) around the globe have been dreaming of an opportunity like this since their first glorious run down a snowy mountain. If you think you're the ultimate ski bum, The Powder Highway is giving you (and, anyone with a video camera and a little imagination) a chance to shred some serious Kootenay POW this season. For free.

For 3 months, Jan 1st ?? March 31st, one lucky ski-bum winner will receive unlimited day tickets at Whitewater Ski Resort, Red Mountain Resort, Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Panorama Mountain Village, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Fernie Alpine Resort as well as (and this is big); one day cat/heli skiingat Island Lake Catskiing, Powder Cowboy, Great Canadian Heli-Skiing, Purcell Heli-Skiing, Retallack Resort, White Grizzly, Selkirk Wilderness Skiing, Highland Powder Skiing, Monashee Powder Snowcats, CMH Kootenay Heli-Skiing, Snowwater Heli-Skiing, Valhalla Powdercats, RK Heli-Ski, Selkirk Tangiers Heli-Skiing, Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Big Red Cats.

How to enter you ask?

Beginning October 5, 2009 contestants can submit a 90 second video, explaining why they should be the Ultimate Ski Bum, and why they deserve to have their mind blown by one of the most incredible winter destinations on planet earth.

Videos will be accepted from October 5 to November 22, 2009 with the winner to be announced on December 1, 2009, as voted by video viewers and the Powder Highway Ski Resort judges.
