Winter Vibe #2 - Winter Carnival at Whitewater Ski Resort

We are excited to release the second video of our Winter Vibe video series in partnership with Whitewater Ski Resort.  Whitewater Ski Resort hosted their 6th annual Whitewater Winter Carnival, a weekend for those young and those young at heart to celebrate the true winter vibe of Nelson Kootenay Lake. From marshmallow roasting, AFKO taffy tasting and snow sculpting competitions to the Kootenay Kids Society scavenger hunt (which raised $300 for the not-for-profit!), Avalanche Awareness Day's avalanche safety demos, the Transceiver Olympics and the Gericks Summit Cup, a dual slalom race that saw 75 competitors of all ages; there was definitely something for everyone. The celebrations went late into Saturday night at the Snowball Après Party with live music from Sofiella Watt and the Huckleberry Bandits and The Good Ol' Goats, a delicious buffet dinner from the Fresh Tracks Café, followed by a torchlight parade and fireworks.  We are already planning for next year!
