Registration is now open for The Ymir Climber!
As part of the lead up to ski mountaineering’s debut in the next Olympic Winter Games, we are so excited to host The Ymir Climber at Whitewater from February 7-9.
This Canada Cup event features vertical, individual, and relay races that approximate a ski tour with climbs being a mix of on- and off-piste skinning, bootpacking, and descents including everything from groomed runs to backcountry skiing. These meticulously-crafted courses will challenge competitors to navigate both in-bounds terrain via dedicated uphill tracks as well as Whitewater's pristine backcountry, uncovering hidden gems and lesser-known zones, so don’t miss out on your chance to reign supreme at The Ymir Climber!
Plus, you can get race-ready with a clinic focused on enhancing your ski touring techniques.
