Mark your Calendars
Join us on Saturday, June 28 from 10:00am - 1:00pm for a day of art in the mountains!
The snow is pulling back, but winter still clings to the peaks, and there’s no better time to capture the changing seasons on canvas. Join us for an inspiring plein air painting session at the Hummingbird Lodge, perched in the alpine with stunning views of Ymir Peak and the surrounding ridgelines.
Inspired by the last lingering snow on Ymir Peak, you’ll capture the beauty of winter before it melts away. Under the guidance of Bryn Stevenson, a talented Kootenay artist and former Whitewater Artist in Residence, you'll learn essential techniques to make your painting come to life as you slow down, soak up the scenery, and paint the mountains before summer comes into full bloom.
