We will be learning to paint with a palette knife to create interesting textures and styles.

RECOMMENDED ART SUPPLIES:
1) Acrylic Paints
-ultramarine (dark blue)
-yellow
-pink or magenta
-red
-white
2) palette knife and flat 1" paintbrush
3) 8" x 10" canvas or mixed media paper
EXTRA SUPPLIES
-jar of water
-palette for mixing paint (wax paper, a lid from the recycling, Tupperware, etc)
-pencil
-paper towel
-hairdryer (optional if you want to speed up drying time)
COST
-This event is happening during Whitewater's Community Week. This is a free event with a suggested donation to AABBS or the Nelson Community Food Centre.
