Whitewater IFSA Challenger
March 24-26, 2025
Competition Update - March 25, 2025
We're disappointed to share that we've made the difficult decision to cancel the 2025 Whitewater IFSA Challenger due to current snow conditions and warming weather. While it's never easy to call off an event, we’re doing so knowing that the forecast shows no improvement ahead—and athlete safety is always our top priority.
The evolving conditions simply aren’t suitable for the level of competition and terrain this series deserves. While we're gutted not to see these incredible athletes throw down, as the highest level of freeride competition in the Americas, the Challenger series represents the pinnacle of progression, skill, and passion—and we’re stoked to have been a part of that journey.
Thank you to the athletes, organizers, volunteers, and spectators who brought their energy and passion to this event—your spirit is what makes this community so special. And thank you to our incredible partners Orage, Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism, and Nelson Brewing Company for their unwavering support in bringing this event to life and for championing the spirit of freeride.
We'll see you in 2026.
