Ali Wong

Ali has spent the past decade traveling the globe and is grateful to now call Whitewater home. Born and raised in the suburbs of Toronto, her first passion was ice hockey, which led her to play for Brown University. After her competitive hockey career, she embraced the opportunity to explore other winter sports and was captivated by snowboarding.

For Ali, snowboarding quickly became more than just a sport. She found joy in the freedom, creativity, and simplicity of playing in the mountains and finds a sense of peace every time she straps in. Spending half of her time in the backcountry, she is dedicated to coexisting with and learning from the mountains as she pursues bigger, bolder, and deeper objectives. Passionate about blending the sport, art and lifestyle of snowboarding, Ali hopes to inspire her communities through capturing unique content and sharing her authentic connection on the board. This season, she’s excited to be part of a women-focused film project and to explore new terrain in her vast backyard.
