Sol Butler

I’m Solomon Butler, a 26-year-old, Nelson-born-and-raised big-mountain/freeride skier who’s been shredding Whitewater since the age of 2. I grew up skiing on the freeride team with some of the best coaches out there, traveling across Canada, the USA, and finishing in Europe at the Junior Worlds. 

My favorite things about Whitewater are the deep days, big cliffs, and saucy poutines. You’ll usually find me eyeing up “Big Stupid” on “Planet Dano” or collecting my gear after an inevitable yard sale. 

This mountain has been such a huge part of my life, and I’m stoked to now represent it as part of the team.
