Scavenger Hunt - The Mystical Snowbird Quest

9:00am - 2:30pm in the Base Area

A mystical snowbird has scattered its enchanted feathers all across Whitewater. Your quest is to spot them all, solving riddles and following clues to piece together the mystical snowbird's message.

On each clue, you will find a secret code. Keep track of these codes and the order in which you find them — don't scramble the codes, or you’ll scramble the message! Once you’ve found all nine feathers, check your answer at the final location to reveal your sweet reward!

Before you embark on your adventure, head to Guest Services to collect your first clue. This is where your journey begins, and the mystical snowbird’s feathers await your discovery.

Taffy Tasting - w/ AFKO

Get ready to satisfy your sweet tooth at our a fun and flavorful Taffy Tasting with the Association des francophones des Kootenays Ouest (AFKO). Step into a cozy world of maple magic and celebrate a cherished Canadian tradition.

Bring your curiosity and your sweet tooth to this one-of-a-kind event. Leave with memories as sweet as the taffy you'll taste!

Face Painting - w/ Yvonne Boyd

11:30am - 2:30pm on the first floor of the Day Lodge

Unleash your inner wild side or become a snowy masterpiece with face painting at Whitewater! Whether you want to roar like a lion, purr like a cat, or sparkle like a snow angel, our talented artist will bring your imagination to life.

Perfect for kids and kids-at-heart, it’s a fun way to add some extra magic to your mountain day.

Snowshoe Races

1:00pm - 3:00pm in the Meadow

Gather a friend, get a killer costume, lace up your snowshoes, and join us for an race through Whitewater’s Winter Wonderland! This unique race invites adventurers of all skill levels to dash across the meadow fueled by fresh mountain air and the thrill of competition.

But it’s not just about the race — it’s about the rewards! Awaiting you at the finish line are sweet surprises!

Chase victory or simply soak up the serene snow-covered scenery. Gather your friends, embrace the snowy spirit, and sweeten your season up at Whitewater.

Live Music with - UCRA Mountain String Band

1:30pm - 3:30pm in the Day Lodge

UCRA Mountain String Band is a dynamic trio from Rossland, BC, blending bluegrass, folk, and rock into their own distinctive sound. Their music features heartfelt melodies and engaging rhythms, with Ian Johnston delivering powerful guitar work and soulful vocals. Dale Green brings energy to the stand-up bass and adds rich vocal harmonies, while Brian Taylor contributes intricate mandolin and guitar parts, enhancing the band’s overall texture.

Their setlist ranges from reflective ballads to upbeat tracks that get audiences moving. Influenced by groups like Trampled by Turtles, The Decemberists, and The Avett Brothers, they combine traditional roots with a modern edge and focus on creating memorable experiences and connecting with their audience through authentic and lively performances.
